Stevanovic is due in Accra next week when he begins his two year tenure as Black Stars coach but met up with Kevin Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari in Milan as he seeks to get to grips with the players he will be working with. While the Boateng meeting was straight forward, Muntari’s was a bit more complicated given the player’s troubles past with the Black Stars. The Serbian assured Muntari during the meeting that he still has a future with the national team but has warned him he must fit in with the disciplinary code of the side. Muntari’s problems with the national side are well documented leading to his omission from the side since the 2010 World Cup. But Stevanovic insisted in an earlier interview with KickOffGhana.com that he will give Muntari another chance because he is a good player and has backed that up with the meeting in Milan.
