Ghanaian football legend Stephen Appiah has extended his support and best wishes to young forward Daniel Asante Amoah following the teenager’s loan switch to Turkish giants Fenerbahce from Inter Millas FC.

The 18-year-old attacker is expected to spend the 2026 season with Fenerbahce’s youth side, a move widely seen as a significant opportunity to gain exposure and develop in one of Europe’s competitive football environments.

Appiah, who enjoyed a successful spell with the Istanbul-based club between 2006 and 2008—winning both the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup; took to Instagram to encourage the youngster, posting: “Daniel Amoah, wishing you the best of luck.” His message adds weight to the growing optimism surrounding the forward’s European adventure.

Amoah first caught national attention after an outstanding performance at the 2023 Baby Jet U-16 Football Tournament with Great Somas, where he emerged as the Best Player. His rapid rise earned him a move to Inter Millas FC, and continued development there eventually attracted overseas interest.

The promising striker has already had a taste of action with Fenerbahce’s U-19 team, featuring in their 2–1 defeat to Gençlerbirliği SK on Monday, marking his first competitive appearance for the Turkish outfit.

Prior to sealing the Fenerbahce loan, Amoah had trials with Swedish top-flight side IFK Norrköping in the summer of 2025 but did not secure a contract. The move to Turkey therefore represents a crucial step in his career progression, offering a fresh platform to showcase his talent and continue his development on the European stage.
