After a thrilling gameweek one in the new Ekstrakalasa season, Stal Mielec will look to make it two wins from two when they welcome Radomiak Radom to their home ground as the White-blues come off the back of a stunning win on the opening day.
With a bunch of leagues starting their season last weekend, not many sides would have had a better start to their new campaign than Stal did last time out.

The club managed to beat the reigning champions and Poland’s biggest outfit, Lech Poznań, away from home in what was a fairly comfortable result.
Stal were heavy underdogs in that game but with a goal from Piotr Wlazlo in the first half and a second from Maciej Domanski in the second 45, they eventually eased to a victory over the league’s reigning champions.
Stal did see just 37% of the ball that day in pursuit of all three points, as they had nine shots towards goal with five on target. On the other hand Pozan peppered the goal of Stal with 19 shots, but only five on target.
It does now put them in second early on in the Ekstraklasa with a goals difference of two goals and none conceded, while they remain one of only six sides who won on the opening weekend.
This is already a drastic improvement on last season where Stal finished just five points above relegation and a stunning 43 points behind the team they just defeated, Poznan.
What’s more, they let in 52 goals from 34 games and they were only stopped from relegation due to winning two more games than those in the bottom three with nine across the season.
As for Radom, they are in their second campaign now in Poland’s top flight after having a sensational time of things in their first season in the Ekstraklasa.
They managed to avoid relegation by a fantastic 16 points and even finished 11 points above Stal. There was quite a gap on the European spots for Radom, but nevertheless, with 11 wins and eight draws in their first season in the Ekstraklasa in some time, they should be commended for their efforts.
On the other hand, they did manage to draw on the opening day of this season on home soil, as Dawid Abramowicz’s goal equalized for the club in a 1-1 draw. On the other hand, Radom had a stunning 23 efforts towards goal, but only two shots went on target as they had 65% of the ball.
Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
