Norwegian side Stabæk sign Kenpong Academy’s Bossman Debrah on a four-year deal

Stabæk Fotball have secured the signature of 18‑year‑old Ghanaian forward Bossman Debrah after the prolific striker impressed during a trial spell. Debrah, a product of Ghana’s Kenpong Football Academy and a youth international, has penned a contract running through 2029 with the Norwegian top‑flight outfit.

Although not yet eligible for competitive fixtures until the summer transfer window opens in July, Debrah will continue training with Stabæk’s first team in the meantime, integrating fully with the squad.

Stabæk’s sports manager, Thomas Finstad, was full of praise for the young forward’s physical and technical attributes:

“This is a gifted young player who has impressed and who is hugely exciting for the future. He has huge potential and is amazingly explosive, very powerful, and very good physically. He is a front player who can play every position in the front.”

Finstad also commended Debrah’s attitude and coachability:

Bossman has been here on trial, and we’ve gotten to know him very well. He’s a good boy who is trainable, so we’re looking forward to him advancing further here in Stabæk.

The club and fans alike will be watching closely as Debrah develops; hoping that his early promise translates into goals and dynamism at Norway’s top level.
