Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Kofi Adams, has assured the public that government remains committed to modernizing sports infrastructure across the country, revealing plans to partner with Turkish companies as part of the agenda.
Adams explained that the initiative forms part of a broader strategy to position Ghana as a hub for international competitions while providing athletes and fans with world-class facilities.
“Ghana’s vision is to create a modern sports environment that aligns with global benchmarks,” he said.
“We believe Turkish companies, with their track record in sports infrastructure, can play a key role in helping us achieve this objective,” he added.
The project will target both the renovation of existing stadiums and the construction of new multi-purpose arenas, training centers, and auxiliary facilities to drive sports development nationwide.
Adams stressed that upgrading infrastructure will not only boost Ghana’s chances of attracting continental and global tournaments but also enhance the experience for local supporters and athletes.
