2022 World Cup: Southampton react as Mohammed Salisu makes final Black Stars squad

English Premier League outfit, Southampton FC have taken to social media to celebrate Mohammed Salisu’s inclusion in Black Stars squad for the 2022 World Cup.

The 23-year old defender was one of twenty-six players which were unveiled by Ghana coach Otto Addo in a press conference on Monday.

Salisu made his international debut back in September, playing in a 3-0 defeat to Brazil before helping the four-time African champions to a 1-0 victory over Nicaragua.

He is expected to play a key role for Ghana at the global showpiece in Qatar.

The West African giants are drawn in a tricky group alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea as they battle for a place in the knockout rounds.
