Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has picked Ghanaian centre-back Mohammed Salisu amongst the top defenders in the English Premiership.
He has been a regular player for the Saints, winning 25 tackles so far this season, the highest in the club.
The experienced gaffer is highly convinced that Salisu is a quality player though he still can improve in some aspects of his game.
“I think against the ball he’s one of the best defenders in the league, for sure,” Hasenhuttl told HampshireLive.
“With the ball, he has definitely room to improve and he knows this, he has had better.”He added
Salisu joined Southampton from Real Valladolid and has played 55 games for the Premier League side.
