South Africa U17 coach fears Ghana's Black Starlets

South Africa Under-17 coach Shakes Mashaba is wary of Ghana despite enjoying home advantage in their 2013 CAN Under-17 Cup final round first leg qualifier.

Amajimbos beat Zambia Under-17 1-0 away in Kitwe on Sunday to advance to the final round 2-1 on aggregate.’

“It is an advantage to the visiting team because they play more with a plan and grit as well,” Mashaba told MTNFootball.com.

“We can hope that we get more time to prepare the team and we hope that we can progress.”

Amajimbos will host Ghana in during the weekend of November 16 before travelling at Accra in the last weekend of the month to decide which side qualifiers for next March’s finals in Morocco.

“A journey of hundred miles starts with one step this is the first step that we are taking,” Mashaba said.
