Son of Ghana legend Abdul Razak training with Asante Kotoko

The son of Ghana legend Abdul Razak; Ahmed has started training with the Asante Kotoko team in the hope to follow the footsteps of his father.

Ahmed Razak has joined the Kotoko first team currently camping at a training facility in Akosombo.

The youngster joins from Ghanaian second tier club Asokwa Deportivo and hopes to secure a permanent move to the Premier League giants to follow in the footsteps of the illustrious career of his father.

“I am delighted with the opportunity given me here,” he told Metro FM.

“It is like a trial here training with the side and hopefully everything will go well for me to join this great club.

“My father was one of the great players for this club and I also hope to one day achieve a similar feat.”

Ahmed Razak is being assessed closely by the coaches at Kotoko after which a definitive decision will be taken over his association with the club.
