Hearts of Oak head coach, Slavko Matic has revealed areas his side must make improvements ahead of the Ghana Premier League resumption.
The top-flight competition is set to resume on December 19 after being halted for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Phobians have been engaging in a couple of friendlies with the recent one against the Black Stars where they lost 2-1.
With about a week to the start of the league, coach Matic is hoping to rectify their flaws.
“We have a lot of work for all the phases in the game. We want more to control the game.” He told JoySports.
“We want more to control the game with the ball, we want more defence transition to be more closer, to take the ball faster. We must press high more.”
Hearts of Oak travel to Sunyani for the clash against Nsoatreman on Tuesday.
