Hearts of Oak manager Slavko Matic has been spotted at Police Headquarters in Accra after he was prevented from conducting the first team training on Friday morning.
Some disgruntled supporters stormed the club’s training ground at Pobiman to chase out the Serbian tactician.
He was allegedly assaulted by irate fans and was prevented from carrying out his duties ahead of the Super Clash against Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
The 46 year old has subsequently reported the matter to the Ghana Police who are expected to launch an investigation imminently.
The manager has come under a lot of pressure in recent weeks following a poor run of results.
The Phobians suffered back to back defeats against Aduana Stars and Great Olympics in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak now sit at the 6th on the league log with 28 points after 19 rounds of matches.
Matic took over the reigns of the Phobians from Samuel Boadu who mutually parted ways with the club following an abysmal start to the 2022-23 season.
