Ghanaian midfielder Musah Mohammed has joined Sivasspor from Goztepe, completing a move that takes the 24-year-old defensive midfielder to the Turkish second tier.
Mohammed has signed a contract with Sivasspor running until 30 June 2028. The Accra-born player becomes part of the club’s midfield options after moving from Goztepe, where he had spent the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign.
The right-footed midfielder joined Goztepe from Bodrum FK on 5 February 2026. Bodrum paid €300,000 for Mohammed when he moved from Ankaraspor, making Goztepe his third Turkish club since he began his senior career.
Standing at 1.92m, Mohammed’s listed position is defensive midfield. His move to Sivasspor represents a return to a club competing in Turkey’s 1. Lig after his previous two teams, Bodrum FK and Goztepe, had been associated with the Super Lig during his recent career.
Mohammed started his senior career with Ankaraspor after joining from Ghanaian side Bectero FC in January 2021. He spent part of the 2021-22 season on loan at Eyupspor before returning to Ankaraspor, and then moved to Bodrum FK on a free transfer in July 2022.
His time at Bodrum preceded the February switch to Goztepe, where he continued his career in Turkey. The sequence of moves has now taken him to Sivasspor, with the club securing his services for the next two seasons.
Mohammed is the latest step in a career that has been based in Turkey since his move from Bectero FC. His new Sivasspor agreement is due to remain in place until the end of June 2028.
