Black Queens forward Sherifatu Sumaila has thrown her full support behind coach Kim Björkegren ahead of Ghana’s crucial WAFCON 2024 semi-final against Morocco.

Ghana are chasing a first final since 2006, with Tuesday’s showdown in Rabat offering a golden chance to make history.

“We trust our coach,” Sumaila said. “All we need to do is follow the game plan and guide the younger players.”

The Queens are unbeaten since the group stage and will face a Morocco side boosted by home support and aiming for back-to-back finals.
