RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk are set to clash at the Polish Army Stadium this Wednesday night in a final game of Group F where Real Madrid are expected to beat Celtic and finish top as these two clubs battle it out for a place in second.
After a stunning win over the European champions Real, Leipzig are heading into this game just one point behind Real and with the chance to move ahead of them if they can rack up all three points and Celtic create an upset in Madrid.

Between Leipzig and Shakhtar, however, there are just three points between them as the Ukrainian side are the ones with a better goals difference and also a better head-to-head record.
Shakhtar managed to beat Leipzig 4-1 in Germany in the last meeting between the two, and all they now have to do is win by any margin.
On the other hand to that great result for Shaktar, what will give Leipzig hope is how they head into this game off the back of beating Real 3-2 to give them a chance at automatic promotion into the last 32.
Christopher Nkunku netted yet another goal in that game, as Josko Gvardiol netted the opener, before Timo Werner scored another Champions League goal towards the end of the game.
Now, in reality, it’s tough to imagine how Shakhtar beat Leipzig after also defeating Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 in the Bundesliga.
It’s set to be a close game and one that could go either way based on recent results in the league for both sides and their topsy-turvy form in the Champions League.
Both sides have lost where they probably should have won, while they have managed to create some upsets each too.
Leipzig were not expected to defeat Real last time out, and even went 2-0 up inside 20 minutes against the defending champions.
What’s more, the 4-1 win for Shakhtar in the reverse fixture of this game only makes things harder for a prediction here, but Forebet predicts a win for the Ukrainian side and over 2.5 goals in the game.
This will see them through into the knockout stages of the competition and Leipzig into the Europa League.
