Seydou Zerbo and Samuel Boadu are under pressure ahead Super Clash on Sunday – Sam Johnson

Former Ghana international Sam Johnson says Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak coaches, Seydou Zerbo and Samuel Boadu will be under pressure to win on Sunday.

Kotoko will open their 2022/23 Premier League campaign against the Phobians at the Baba Yara Stadium. The game is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT.

The game will be Hearts’ third league game after picking up only one point against Aduana Stars and Great Olympics.

“Both [coaches] are under pressure because both teams haven’t performed well at the beginning of the season,” Sam Johnson told Nhyira FM.

“Hearts will say, they’re happy Kotoko has been eliminated from the CAF champions league so, they are satisfied with their 1-1 scoreline against [Olympics] but if Kotoko had won, the [fans] wouldn’t have forgiven Hearts.

“So the two teams are under pressure but it will be on Kotoko compared to Hearts because they couldn’t qualify to the next stage of the champions league and that’s another pressure.”
