Serbian Champions Red Star Belgrade chase Ghana’s Edmund Addo

Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade have shown interest in signing Ghanaian international Edmund Addo in the summer transfer window.

The midfield dynamo declared his intentions to leave current club Sheriff Tiraspol few months ago which has prompted interest from the club in Belgrade.

kickoffghana.com can authoritatively report that Addo’s name has been included into manager  Dejan Stankovic’s shortlist for next season.

Talks are expected to begin soon between Sheriff and Red Star Belgrade over the transfer of the 22 year old.

Addo made seventeen league appearances last season with two goals scored.

He was in the Moldovan club’s maiden Champions League Group stage appearance.
