Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has signed a new long-term contract with AFC Bournemouth, keeping him at the Premier League club until 2030.
The extension comes at a time when the 24-year-old is attracting strong interest from top clubs, including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Former GFA Communications Director and current CAF Media Officer, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, believes the new deal is a strategic move by Bournemouth.
“This shows the club’s intent to keep him and strengthens their position to demand a bigger transfer fee in the future,” he said.
Semenyo had an impressive 2024/25 season, scoring 13 goals and proving seven assists.
The new contract puts Bournemouth in control of his future, should a transfer come calling.
It also reaffirms the club’s ambition to build around their top talents.
