Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has been shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Week award following an impressive showing on matchday 23.
The Black Stars attacker caught the eye after scoring his maiden league goal for Manchester City in their win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
His decisive contribution played a key role in securing all three points for Pep Guardiola’s side.
The performance has earned Semenyo a spot among the standout players of the weekend.
He will compete for the award against Manchester United’s Patrick Dorgu.
Also in contention are Chelsea’s Estevao, Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, West Ham United midfielder Mateus Fernandes, and Burnley’s Martin Dubravka.
Supporters have been given until the close of day to cast their votes for the weekly honour.
Semenyo has made a strong early impact since arriving at the Etihad Stadium.
The 26-year-old has now scored three goals in his last four appearances across competitions.
