Antoine Semenyo has spoken about the pressure of being in the Premier League title race with Manchester City, saying it’s a new experience for him.
“It’s new to me, to be honest! I’m enjoying it, but obviously it comes with a lot of pressure, a lot of demands,” Semenyo said after Manchester City beat Fulham 3-0.
Despite the pressure, the Ghanaian winger is confident in his team’s ability to challenge for the title, with 12 games remaining in the season.
“I think we’ve got the team to do it. We just need to keep going,” he added.
Semenyo has been in excellent form since joining City from Bournemouth in January, scoring five ggoals providing two assists and bringing energy to the team.
His impressive performances have earned him praise from manager Pep Guardiola, who highlighted his impact on the team’s dynamics.
