KickOffGhana.com understands the eight man search committee has decided on who the new man will be and will forward the name to the 22-member executive committee for endorsement before an announcement is made. GFA vice Fred Pappoe says the football association will use the next two weeks to try and sort out the contractual details of a deal and get the approval of the executive committee of the body before making a formal announcement. Despite widespread reports that the GFA had set a deadline of 31 December, Pappoe had earlier told KickOffGhana.com long ago an announcement will be made by the first working day of January which passed on Tuesday. Ghana needs the new boss in place early to prepare them for the March Nations Cup qualifying date against Congo away in Brazzaville.
