Ghanaian rising star Christopher Bonsu Baah says he is excited about the opportunity to join Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah as a deal edges closer to completion.
Belgian side Genk have agreed terms with the Saudi outfit, paving the way for the 20-year-old to sign a four-year contract, with an option to extend for another year.
Speaking to Joy Sports before traveling to Belgium to wrap up the move, Bonsu Baah confirmed discussions between the parties and expressed confidence in the project presented to him.
“I have heard lots of talks going on between my current club and Al Qadsiah. The Saudi club showed me the project they have for me, and I am happy with it,” he said.
The winger recently made his Black Stars debut during the Unity Cup in London, impressing in matches against Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago.
Bonsu Baah’s transfer to the Middle East could mark a major step forward in his career, with hopes of developing further while remaining in contention for future national team call-ups.
