Former Ghana international Samuel Osei Kuffour has urged Black Stars to stay focused ahead of their next game against Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana commenced the 34th edition of the continental showpiece on a wrong foot losing 2-1 to Cape Verde on Sunday.
The Black Stars now need a win at all cost against the Pharaohs on Thursday to stay in the competition in Ivory Coast.
“You have to play for yourself, when you play for yourself very good you play for the team. When you think about your family back home you play for the team,” Kuffour told JoySports.
“When you think about the people of Ghana, you also play for the team and also concentration, determination and dedication are the key. The players they know themselves, they know what they suppose to do, nobody wants to be insulted everybody want to play good and play for their family.”
Ghana will face Egypt at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan with kick-off scheduled at 20:00GMT.
