Hearts of Oak defender Samuel Inkoom has apologised to the club for missing a penalty in their FA Cup clash against Dreams FC on Sunday.
The Phobians failed to defend the title after losing 1-0 to the Dawu-based side which eventually ousted them from the competition.
The experienced right-back stepped up to take the spot kick after the defending champions were given a penalty in the 97th minute.
Inkoom, however, failed to beat goalkeeper Augustine Koomson and it proved costly as the defender struck wide with his effort.
