‘Samuel Boadu is our coach’- Odotei clears air on coach’s future

Board Member of Hearts of Oak Odotei Sowah, has suggested they have no intention of parting ways with coach Samuel Boadu.

The 36-year-old gaffer has had a difficult season, failing to reach the height of the previous year where guided Hearts to the league and FA Cup triumph.

The double which was masterminded by Boadu brought an end to the club’s 12-year wait for a major trophy.

He has not been able to replicate the feat this season as Hearts finished  sixth in the league.

“We don’t decide the future of our coaches based on one match. As I speak to you today, Samuel Boadu is our coach for now, let’s leave him to celebrate this victory and the hard work.” Odotei said  in an interview with Akoma FM.

Boadu guided the Phobians to defend the MTN FA CUP after beating Bechem United by 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
