Samuel Boadu becomes first coaching casualty of 2022/23 betPawa Premier League

Heart of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has become the first managerial casualty of the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League season.

The 32 year old tactician was sacked following the Phobians’ poor start to the campaign.

Hearts have lost once and recorded two draws in their opening three games of the new season.

Boadu arrived at the club on a three-and-a-half year deal in March 2021 following the exit of Serbian Kosta Papic.

He guided Hearts to the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League title and also won back-to-back MTN FA Cups, Super Cup and the 2021 President’s Cup.

Meanwhile, Coach of the U20 Samuel Nii Noi has been named as the interim manager until a substantive head coach is appointed by the club.
