Samartex wary of Nations FC threat ahead of Sunday clash

FC Samrtex head coach Nurudeen Amadu says his team is wary of the danger when they take on Nations FC in match week 19 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

The Samreboi-based outfit hold a five-point lead at the top of the standings after eighteen matches into the season, five ahead of Aduana FC and Nsoatreman FC.

Samartex claimed an unlikely 2-1 win over Aduana FC at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Stadium on Monday to take their tally 35.

Speaking about their upcoming game against Nations FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex Sunday, Nurudeen Amadu was wary of the danger the newly-promoted side pose.

“It’s a tough match. They are stubborn side so we need not to be complacent or swollen headed. We have to go all out against Nations FC. Every match is crucial as we aspire to get far this season,” he said.

Samartex have now won eight of their last ten games and are on a good winning streak.
