Kotoko take on Future Stars in rescheduled FA Cup Clash

Published: 1 week ago
MTN FA Cup

Asante Kotoko, the defending champions of the MTN FA Cup, will face Future Stars in the Round of 64 on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

The match was initially scheduled for December 3 but was rescheduled to allow for better coordination of the tournament and optimal conditions for participating clubs.

Kotoko coach Karim Zito will welcome the postponement, having expressed concerns over the team’s tight fixture schedule and growing injury list.

Up to nine first-team players have been unavailable due to injuries, and Zito had voiced his frustration, citing the physical demands of the league.

The Porcupine Warriors will look to build on their strong performance in the competition, and this break might just give them the breathing room needed to regroup and prepare for the challenge ahead.

Future Stars, on the other hand, will be eager to cause an upset and progress to the next round.
