Samartex sign experienced shot-stopper Sabi Acquah Ferdinand on three-year deal

Samartex have strengthened their goalkeeping department with the signing of 28-year-old goalkeeper Sabi Acquah Ferdinand.

Ferdinand, who joins from Nsoatreman FC, has signed a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2028. With experience playing for WAFA and Kotoku Royals, Ferdinand is considered one of the most seasoned goalkeepers in the Ghana Premier League.

Last season, he made eight appearances for Nsoatreman FC, keeping two clean sheets and conceding 10 goals.

Despite missing a significant part of the season, Ferdinand is eager to return to regular football and compete for the number one spot at Samartex.

His height and shot-stopping abilities will be valuable assets to the team.
