Samartex defender Desmond Gyabeng has shared his excitement after making his debut for the club in the Ghana Premier League.
The defender, who joined the Timber giants before the start of the Ghana Premier League campaign played his first game for the club last Sunday.
He was called to action when his outfit cruised to a 3-0 home win over Karela United in the week 16 clash at the Nsenkyire Complex.
Reacting to his debut, the former Kings Palace player expressed joy whiles he aim to cement a place in the team.
“It was a wonderful feeling and great experience. There are a lot of challenges and competition in the team and that pushes me to work extra hard to get a place in the team. the feeling is high making my debut “
“I think this will motivate me to do more and cement my place in the team. I know the competition in the team and I’m looking forward to working hard to maintain my place” he said.
Samartex are enjoying a wonderful campaign and are currently at the summit of the table with 29 points after 16 games so far this season.
