Ghanaian forward Salim Musah has taken a major leap in his career by joining Werder Bremen’s first-team training.
The 19-year-old, who stands at an imposing 6’6″, recently signed his first professional contract with the Bundesliga side, keeping him at the club until 2028.
Musah caught the eye with an incredible return of 20 goals in 24 games last season for Bremen’s U19 team.
He also scored the decisive goal in their U19 DFB-Pokal final victory. His promotion to the senior squad is seen as a reward for his consistency and physical dominance.
The club sees him as a long-term project and a future star in their attacking setup.
Musah will now aim to impress in pre-season as he begins life among Germany’s elite.
