Salifu Ibrahim set to team-up Hearts of Oak teammates after recovering from injury

Playmaker Ibrahim Salifu is set to team up with his Hearts of Oak teammates after recovering from an injury.

The former Techiman Eleven Wonders star played a vital role as the Phobian Club won a domestic treble during the 2020/21 football season.

However, Salifu struggled to replicate his form during the 2021/22 season due to consistent injuries.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been out for over three months after picking up an injury happening against Karela United on May 30, 2022, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium which sidelined him for the rest of last season.

His rehabilitation has been on for some time but the good news to the ‘Phobians’ this time is that the metal on his foot has been taken off and will return into action very soon.

The mercurial playmaker is most likely to join the rest of his teammates very soon to continue with their preseason towards the 2022/23 football season.

Hearts of Oak will open their 2022/23 Ghana Premier League with an away game against Aduana Stars.
