Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Saanie Daara was left impressed by the atmosphere in the Black Stars camp ahead of their international friendly against Brazil.
Saanie Daara was pleased with the comrade and bond between the players during a visit to the team’s base in Deauville, France.
“The team looks amazing, the bonding is great and everybody wants to make a statement. I think that the atmosphere here looks better than what we had in 2011” he told Joy Sports.
The former GFA scribe also spoke on the abundance of talent and options available to Coach Otto Addo.
“If you look at the current squad you can boast of at least 2 players in each position. There are also some players that are versatile and can play in three or four positions. So it’s a good headache to give the coach and a good headache for any opponent Ghana will face”
The Black Stars are set to face Brazil in a high profile friendly at Stade Oceane in Le Harve on Friday before playing Nicaragua three days later in Spain.
Coach Otto Addo and his technical team will use the matches to access the strength of the squad as they build up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
