Rwandan club APR FC are interested in signing Ghanaian forward Stephen Amankona from Berekum Chelsea.
The club has already made an initial offer of €60,000, but Berekum Chelsea rejected it, valuing Amankona at €87,000.
APR plan to make an improved offer of €85,000 to try and convince the club to start negotiations.
Amankona has been in great form, scoring 18 goals in 29 league appearances this season. He’s the top scorer in the Ghana Premier League for two consecutive seasons and has scored 37 goals in 58 games since rejoining Berekum Chelsea.
Amankona’s contract runs until January 2026, and he’s valued at €175,000 by Transfermarkt.
He’s dominated the local scene and might be ready to move abroad. Other clubs, like Randers FC from Denmark and Ismaily SC from Egypt, are also interested in signing him.
APR’s improved offer might be enough to secure Amankona’s transfer.
