RTU coach Abdul Mumin admits lack of preparation contributed to 3-0 defeat against Hearts of Oak

Real Tamale United (RTU) suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Accra Hearts of Oak in their Ghana Premier League clash on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Following the match, RTU’s coach, Abdul Mumin, candidly acknowledged that insufficient preparation played a significant role in their defeat.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Coach Abdul Mumin expressed his team’s lack of readiness for the challenging encounter.

“I think that in terms of preparations, we are not there. We just started three days ago and we are coming into the game, so definitely you should expect this result,” Mumin admitted.

The coach highlighted the importance of physical fitness in achieving good results.

“When you are not physically fit you don’t expect any result apart from this one,” he remarked.

Despite the defeat, Mumin remained determined to address the shortcomings.

“We will go back and then review what has happen and see our way clear,”
