Real Tamale United coach Abdul Mumin Abdulai has expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players despite defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League week 16 clash.

The Porcupine Warriors secured a crucial victory against the Pride of the North, bouncing back from last week’s draw with Great Olympics.

The Ugandan striker, Steven Dese Mukwala, played a pivotal role by converting a second-half penalty in the 80th minute at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

After the game, Abdul Mumin asserted his outfit played well despite defeat to the Ghanaian giants.

“My boys played very well, we were not lucky and then, a penalty was awarded and that’s how come we lost the game but they played very well. It’s an improvement of the last encounter that we played at home” he told StarTimes.

RTU are currently 17th on the Ghana Premier League table with 14 points after 16 games.
