Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports International (RNSI) has officially launched its African football project, unveiling a bold plan to tap into the continent’s vast talent pool.
As part of this expansion, two Ghanaian teenagers — Ali Umar of Koforidua Semper Fi FC and Joseph Narbi of Benab FC have been signed by the global agency. They join a select group of emerging stars from South Africa, Nigeria, The Gambia, Guinea, and Zimbabwe.
The agency says the move follows a year of groundwork and is aimed at helping young African footballers thrive on and off the pitch, with the right support systems and career guidance.
“We’re not just scouting talent ; we’re building lasting partnerships and investing in the future of African football,” said RNSI’s Head of Global Football Recruitment, Nathan Campbell.
Roc Nation, already managing top global names like Vinícius Jr and Gabriel Martinelli, will operate in Ghana with support from local football consultant Sakibu Nuhu.
