Roadmap for 2023 FIFAe Nations play-ins announced

FIFA has announced the road map for the 2023 FIFAe Nations play-ins for Asia, Oceania Middle East & Africa.

Ghana is in the Middle East & Africa Division which consists of 10 participating member associations.

There will be one conference with two divisions, having five participating member association in each of the two divisions.

Two teams from the Conference after Matchweek 3 will qualify for the 2023 FIFAe Nations Playoffs.

The remaining eight teams will proceed to the 2023 FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers where they will be joined by potential newcomers.

Georgia and Kazakhstan have moved from Middle East & Africa to Europe because of the new structure.

Participating member associations for Middle East & Africa division include Ghana, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, South Africa, Oman, Lebanon, Palestine and Qatar.

Ghana played in the 2022 edition of the competition and was knocked out in the Group stage.
