Richmond Boakye-Yiadom keen on Ghana’s World Cup spot

Elche striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom wants to be part of Ghana’s World Cup plans by doubling his efforts in the Primera Division.

The 20-year-old made a huge mark for the first half of the season after scoring four goals in all competitions on his debut season in La Liga.

Boakye, on loan from Juventus, believes he can chart in way back into the Ghana national team after punching above his weight in the second half.

“I think it is the decision of every footballer to play at the World Cup. If you talk about the World Cup, the whole world is watching and when I was a child my dream was to play at the World Cup,” Boakye told MTNFootball.com
