Veteran Football Administrator, Arhin Takyi wants Albert Commey to “retract” and “apologize” to the football fraternity for his comments about match-fixing.
Commey has been on the receiving end of criticisms in recent days for naming some matches that were allegedly fixed.
He claims games between Real Tamale United and Hearts of Oak, Goldstars and AshantiGold, King Faisal and Legon Cities, and XI Wonders and Aduana Stars were compromised.
Speaking on Otec FM, Takyi said, “the Albert I know wouldn’t have come out with such comment. I will advise him to retract the unfortunate statement and apologize to all the clubs mentioned.”
Commey is invited by the Ghana football Association for his alleged comments.
AshantiGold and Inter Allies are the two clubs demoted to the third tier of Ghana football after being found guilty of match-fixing by the Disciplinary Committee of the GhanaFootball Association.
