Report- Kwame Boateng powers Legon Cities past Dreams FC

Legon Cities secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Dreams FC in the betPawa Premier League on Sunday.

The match had its share of drama, with an opportunity for the Royals to take the lead presented in the 17th minute when Albert Yeboah was brought down in the penalty box.

Kwame Boateng stepped up to take the resulting penalty kick, but Dreams FC’s Solomon Agbasi made a crucial save.

However, Boateng, who has made an impressive start with Legon Cities, didn’t let that missed opportunity deter him.

He found the back of the net in the 33rd minute, securing the winning goal and handing Dreams FC yet another challenging away fixture.

The result means Legon Cities have ended their three-match winless streak while Dreams FC struggle on the road this season continues.
