Ghana defender John Boye is a major injury doubt for Stade Rennes Ligue 1 game against Nice on Sunday.
The central defender sustained an injury in his pubis in the 2-0 win at Brest on Saturday.
The Ghana international played through the pain barrier to help the Red and Blacks halt a four-game losing streak on Saturday.
He now appears to have aggravated the injury and could now miss this weekend’s home match against Nice.
Rennes have only started climbing the Ligue 1 ladder after suffering four consecutive defeats.
They now lie 10th with just four matches remaining.
