Real Tamale United board chairman, Alhaji Mahama Savanna has resigned from the club’s board with immediate effect.
He tendered his resignation letter to the club’s top hierarchy earlier this week.
The resignation comes as a shock with just some few weeks for the commencement of the 2023/2024 BetPawa Ghana Premier season.
A letter dated on 2/8/2023, Mr Mahama accused some of his fellow board members and the club’s Chief Executive Officer of not giving him ‘peace’ since he took over the role as Board Chairman.
He was appointed a year ago and has done a great job making sure the club attained its target.
