German-Ghanaian winger Reagy Ofosu has joined Malaysian Super League side Kuala Lumpur as a free agent. The 34-year-old left winger completed the move on 20 August 2026 after being without a club since leaving Turkish side Sanliurfaspor in February 2025.

Ofosu, who was born in Hamburg and can use both feet, brings experience from leagues in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Turkey, Greece and Saudi Arabia. He began his career in the Hamburg youth system before progressing to Hamburger SV II, where he played in Germany’s third tier.

The forward moved to FC Ingolstadt in 2012 and later represented Chemnitzer FC, Grodig and NEC Nijmegen. His career then took him to NK Istra and Spartak Trnava, where he won the Slovak championship in 2017-18. He subsequently joined Szombathelyi Haladas before moving to FC Botosani in Romania.

Ofosu spent the 2020-21 campaign with Universitatea Craiova and helped the club win the Romanian Cup. He returned to Botosani after that spell, before later playing for Bursaspor, Ionikos Nikea and Ohod Club. His most recent club move came in July 2024, when he joined Sanliurfaspor from Botosani on a free transfer.

Across his career, Ofosu has made 59 appearances in Serbia’s SuperLiga, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists. He also recorded 49 appearances, four goals and eight assists in Germany’s 3. Liga, while his career honours include the Saxony Cup with Chemnitzer FC in 2014-15.

His 18 appearances in Saudi Arabia’s First Division League produced one goal and three assists, while he also played in the Bundesliga during his time with Ingolstadt. His European experience includes appearances in the Europa League qualifying rounds, the Europa League, Champions League qualifying and the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.

Kuala Lumpur will be Ofosu’s latest club as he begins a new chapter in Malaysia at the age of 34. He joins the Super League side after more than a year without a club, completing the move on 20 August 2026.
