Ghana defender Alexander Djiku has emerged as a transfer target for French Ligue 1 side RC Lens in the January transfer window.
RC Lens are looking to sign a defender to replace the injured Jonathan Gradit
Gradit sustained an injury in the game against Troyes and is expected to be on the sidelines for a longer spell.
With reports indicating that Jonathan Gradit will miss the rest of 2022 due to what has been identified as a broken collarbone injury, RC Lens are now looking at signing a new defender.
Sources in France say Alexander Djiku’s name has been discussed and the club will try to sign the Black Stars defender in the January transfer window.
RC Lens would have to offer seven million euros to sign the Ghana defender from Strasbourg.
