The Queens, who entered the return leg with a comfortable 3-0 advantage from the first clash in Ismailia, delivered another dominant performance at the Accra Sports Stadium to seal their qualification in style.

After a cagey opening half, Ghana turned up the heat in the second period, netting four times to complete the rout.

Star forward Doris Boaduwaa dazzled with a superb hat-trick, while Comfort Yeboah added a fine goal to wrap up a memorable evening for the home side.

The qualification marks back-to-back appearances at the continental showpiece for the Black Queens.

Their qualification also reignites hopes of a return to the global stage, as the 2026 WAFCON will serve as a pathway to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
