Some newspaper reports in the past suggested Papic held talks with unnamed GFA officials about an offer to assist his country man in Ghana’s bid to reach the 2010 World Cup. Papic who has worked in Ghana for barely a year, will according to reports be required to monitor local players and recommend them to Milovan Rajevac who lives and works in the same country but the Hearts man told KickOffGhana.com it was all rumours. Now Rajevac himself has poured scorn on the reports. “I know Papic very well and he is my friend. But there are no intentions of drafting him into the technical team,” Rajevac told the GNA. “These are mere speculations and fabrications which should not be taken seriously.”
