Muntari was the major casualty from the squad after a fall-out with the Serbian following a trip he made to Milan.
But Rajevac says he has settled his differences with the player and will make him a part of his plans for the tournament in South Africa later this year if he is willing to play.
“For the World Cup you need players with experience, all of them: John Mensah, John Paintsil, Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari. They will be important players for the World Cup but it depends on them and how much they want to play because I want players who are willing to give off their best for Ghana,” Rajevac said.
Rajevac confirmed an earlier KickOffghana.com story that he omitted Muntari after he refused to meet the coach in Milan.
“I went to Milan before issuing the final team list just to talk to Muntari plus to talk to Balotelli and also for Sulley to assist with Balotelli because they play in the same team. I spent two days in Milan, I called, sent him messages; he was informed I was there but for two days he was not responding.
