Asante Kotoko utility player Rahim Ayew is yet to sign a contract extension, GHANASoccernet.com understands.
The former Zamalek defender signed a short-term contract with the Porcupine Warriors midway through last season and helped them to win the league and FA Cup double.
His contract runs out in November and there had been media reports the first son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele had signed a long-term contract.
“It’s not true that Rahim Ayew has signed a contract with us yet,†an Asante Kotoko insider told GHANASoccernet.com
“There have been talks in recent times but no concrete solution has been reached yet.
“We are hoping to make all deals concrete before announcing them.â€
