French giants Paris Saint Germain are the frontrunners for the signature of Liverpool striker Sadio Mane.
Mane has been linked with a move away from Anfield as the club is yet to sit him for contract negotiations despite his current deal expiring in 2023 with the player keen to be one of the highest earners in the team.
BILD says Mane is reluctant to sign a new Liverpool contract due to transfer interest from abroad with Bayern Munich and Barcelona said to be the other teams interested in acquiring the services of the Senagalese.
Mane has 22 goals in all competitions so far, as his club remains in the running to end the season with a quadruple of trophies.
The future of the player has been a subject of speculation since last season when there were claims that he wasn’t impressed by how his efforts at the club were being overlooked with a lot of concentration being on Mohamed Salah who is another player who is yet to sign a new deal.
There is a feeling that Mane is waiting to see how much the Reds will be offering Salah and might ask for the same raise or something close to what the Egyptian will be given.
