Faced with the concerns encountered on the Milan Skriniar file, Paris Saint-Germain would have activated a new defensive track with another player playing in the Italian championship. The club of the French capital would consider securing the services of Pierre Kalulu, the young French central defender of AC Milan.
The management of Paris Saint-Germain still has in mind to recruit a central defender, a position that the capital club had failed to strengthen last summer to the great disappointment of Christophe Galtier and Luis Campos. The staff of the Ile-de-France had nevertheless done everything to enlist Milan Skriniar, but Inter Milan managed to block the ambitions of the leader of Ligue 1 until the end. And if we are to believe the latest information on the track leading at the Slovak international Nerazzurri, Paris will not succeed. The 27-year-old does not want to join France and has decided to extend his contract, currently running until next June. This decision forces Paris Saint-Germain to review its plans and start looking for a new element.
Extended until 2027
According to information from the Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the Parisian leaders would have their sights on Pierre Kalulu, the young central defender of AC Milan. The 22-year-old French player would be erected as a priority, for the winter transfer window in January or next summer. Recruited in September 2020 by the Italians, the former member of the Olympique Lyonnais training center has made 21 appearances in all competitions since the start of the 2022-2023 season, including 15 Serie A matches. The mission of Paris Saint- Germain promises to be tricky, especially since the native of the Rhone city recently extended his contract until June 2027 with the 2022 Italian champion. But the cost of his transfer would undoubtedly be less substantial than for Milan Skriniar. Said TransfermarktPierre Kalulu has a market value of 35 million euros.
